Tom Greaves
Tom Greaves, Chairman of The Greaves Group, is a highly regarded visionary with over 30
years experience in educational technology. As a pioneer of technology in
schools, he built a prize-winning mechanical computer in the seventh grade and
went on to develop and market a diverse set of innovative products for IBM,
including desktop computers, personal science laboratory, curriculum and network
management products. Tom was a leader of IBM's dominance in distributed
networking in schools, and later co-founded NetSchools Corporation, which set
the standard for comprehensive, high performing 1:1 e-learning solutions in K-12
schools. He has participated in the development of over 100 award winning
educational software and hardware products and holds multiple patents and patent
disclosures for educational products.
Tom has been the CEO of two educational companies and has
served on the boards of many others. He is a well-known keynote speaker and
panelist at national and state education conferences, particularly on topics
related to the future of technology in education. He is the author of numerous
articles and is often quoted on topics related to future educational technology
trends and strategic planning.
Tom has worked for over 20 years with school
superintendents around the country and has done considerable work at the policy
level in public and private meetings with governors, members of Congress, and
their staffs. He is widely connected in the educational technology community.

Brenda Raker
Brenda Raker, President of The Greaves Group, is a highly skilled strategic planner, project manager and executive leader.
Her background and continuing involvement as an educator, administrator and educational technology business
leader provide her with critical insights into the requirements for success in the education market.
Brenda has 20 years of experience working with a variety of innovative educational technology
companies both as an employee and as a consultant. She has worked for companies such as Apple Computer and
The Learning Company in a sales management capacity and as president of Educational Resources. She has also
worked with two large systems integration companies, BDM and SAIC, where she provided leadership in strategic
planning, marketing and business development. Brenda's work with a wide variety of companies allows her to
apply diverse experience and expertise to her consultant clients.
As an industry consultant, Brenda has worked with corporations on strategic planning,
executive skills, sales management, marketing, competitive analysis, account development, project planning
and management, and business alliances.

Richard A. Milewski
Richard A. Milewski, The Greaves Group's Chief Techonology Officer, has more than
30 years of experience applying technology in Silicon Valley.
He wrote the first third-party software application marketed by Apple Computer under the Apple name,
was a columnist for Creative Computing Magazine and served as Editor-in-Chief at InfoWorld.
Richard has been involved in the development and marketing of technologies for non-contact temperature
measurement using infrared radiometry, infant hearing screening using brainwave analysis, passive
infrared intrusion detection systems, and systems for facsimile and Internet telepublishing,
wireless networking, and wireless aviation weather delivery. Richard also developed and operated the first comprehensive medical market research survey system on the Internet.
In the area of K-12 educational technology, he served as the Chief Technology Officer for NetSchools Corporation
and holds three educational network technology patents.

Christine Whelan
Christine has over 15 years experience managing, leading and directing highly successful national and
international sales organizations for both large and small educational technology developers, publishers and consumer product
companies. With a Masters in Business Administration in Finance and Marketing, Christine is an experienced, entrepreneurial
manager who provides clients solid expertise in sales and financial management, strategic planning, business development,
and the creation and implementation of long-term sales and marketing strategies.
Chris has broad education market experience leading top-performing sales teams and specializes in building
and managing direct, channel and telemarketing organizations. As a professional consultant, she understands the importance
of taking appropriate business risks, managing for profitability and working effectively with a company's most important
asset—its people.
Christine founded her own business providing international sales, training and distribution consulting
services to educational software publishers and organizations such as Curriculum Advantage, CourseCrafters, the MIND Institute,
East Asian Council of Overseas Schools and US Department of Defense schools. Chris has written several articles on teaching
English Language Learners and has delivered key-note presentations at educational conferences in the US and Asia.
